NSS & NSA Ultimate Series

Latham’s Ultimate Series Surface Fixed, 25 mm-deep floor expansion joint covers are supplied with either aluminium or stainless-steel cover plates and can be fitted with a BFG water gutter when moisture management is required. Sitting just 25 mm below the finished floor level, the profile is purpose-built for retrofit projects where an expansion joint cover was omitted during construction. Installation is fast because the surrounding floor finish stays intact, and for structural joints wider than 50 mm the assembly can incorporate the Latham Fire Barrier System to maintain fire integrity.

Designed for pedestrian environments such as offices, hotels, foyers, shopping centres and airports, these Surface Fixed joint covers integrate smoothly with tiles, timber, concrete, vinyl, direct-stick carpet, carpet tiles and epoxy floors. The system allows movement in six directions, with the exact range determined by the existing structural joint width and the chosen cover width. For new builds, Latham recommends specifying a recessed expansion joint cover from the wider Ultimate Series to achieve even greater long-term performance.
